Dealin' In J. Malverde
Posted by Ben Crudo on
This rare silk portrait shirt comes with a bad a$$ baller status. Jesùs Malverde was a protector of the poor and thief to the rich. He was known as the Patron Saint of drug dealers and praised by many, a Mexican Legend. A shrine exists in the rough Doctores neighbourhood of Mexico City, drug traffickers roll up in blacked out cars to give big wads of cash in thanks. When crossing the boarder - they carry prayer cards or statues and pray to Malverde, the "Narco-Saint" for safety. Sinaloa, where Malverde's legend began, is also where drug smuggling started in Mexico. Some say he was a railway worker, or a construction worker, the details to his history are sketchy at best. Want to visit the shrine? Nope. The location is unknown to foreign tourists but Mexican locals frequently visit. Caup this for your next "special" trip across the boarder... Get it here -
