Top Vintage Pick of the Year -
You know its going to be a good year when the vintage gods bless you with your all time best vintage score. It was early January when we picked up this gem. The Filson 1912 Cruiser Shirt. This amazing find has such a unique design with amazing turn of the century detailing. Its constructed of duck canvas, has a pull over - half pearl button design, chin strap, and amazing pocket configuration. Filson is currently re-releasing this garment as a 100 year anniversary exclusive. They have only dropped the red wool version but stay tuned for the duck canvase version coming soon. They recreated this garment from the original patent that they have in their archive, even Filson does not own this extremely rare shirt.
Mookee by Yuske x FAIF Tiger Camo Track Suit -
Working with long time friends Yuske, Eric, and the rest of team Mookee on this collaboration track suit was a lot of fun. We have known Yuske for many years now since he was a regular at the Rosebowl Flea Market. Over the past few years we have watched the Mookee movement grow and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. Yuske truly is a maven in the fashion world.Love Jules Leather X FAIF MCM Cookie Boot -
We have know Jules and Josh of Love Jules Leather since they were solely creating belts and bags back in Whistler when we opened our first shop in 2007. Once we saw what amazing quality work they were doing in the footwear game we had to get involved. We teamed up to create the MCM Cookie Boots taking inspiration from a classic Polo cut and utilizing authentic vintage MCM materials. Stay tuned for more from LJL X FAIF in 2014.Vancouver Shop Renovation -
Our Vancouver location has been in need of a facelift for some time and early 2013 we made the call to get it done. Taking time out from the regular daily grind to get dirty on projects like this can hugely refreshing. All the work was done in house with the help of our good friend Alex.
